According to recent trends in earthquakes around the world, it is evident that there is a really high risk of earthquake, necessitating the construction of earthquake-resistant structures. High buildings are vulnerable to both wind and earthquake loads. There are many ways to endure these lateral loads for the purpose of increasing stiffness and reducing lateral variation, including base seclusion, development of hollow foundations, tuned mass dampers, straight bands, and bracing. Bracing is one of the best methods to resist these kinds of loads out of all of these applications. Both concentrically and eccentrically can be used for supporting. The cross bracings are one of the supporting types that are typically used. Bracings are incredibly effective in overcoming flexible seismic waves. This is used to strengthen the structure by increasing its stiffness and variation capacity while minimising side displacement. You can employ a variety of bracings, including X, V, and inverted V types. Research has been done to determine whether the addition of different bracing systems affects how quickly a structure reacts to side loading. By positioning various bracing systems at various locations, a G + 20 building framework of strategic location 10.5 m X 9 m is examined under seismic load in area IV in this study. The feedback range method is used to do the analysis in ETABS. Inverted V, V, and X bracing systems are the bracing systems that are taken into account. These bracings are positioned at the structure's interior and exterior bays. Storey variations, storey wanders, storey shears, as well as reversing moments are examined from the assessment of the buildings with varied bracing. For the lot combination (1.2 DL + 1.2 LL + 1.2 EQ X), these results are evaluated. A structure typically undergoes lateral and tensional displacement as a result of the influence of seismic loading. Any sort of supporting system increases the system's overall rigidity and thereby serves as a control mechanism for the structure's lateral and tensional motion.
